Made by heart and hand, Single Estate Tequila Ocho was created to explore and prove the concept of “terroir” in tequila.
Terroir is defined by the sense of place - the topography, the soil, and the climate - that produces an individual tequila’s distinct flavors and aromas.
For each of their vintages, Ocho sources their agave from a single estate (rancho). Each estate produces a limited amount of agave, making each batch of Ocho rare and collectible due to the nuances of each harvest.
Ocho is one of the few tequilas still crafted in the artisanal tradition, allowing the taste of 100% Blue agave to shine through.

Gently aged for 1 year in ex-American oak whiskey barrels, giving it a light amber color.

Complex cooked agave notes with oak, anise and dried fruits. Notes of sweet cooked agave, toffee and black pepper that are balanced with vanilla.
Gently aged for 3 years in ex-American oak whiskey barrels, creating a slightly darker amber color.
